Integrate your official Google Workspace or Gmail account to send AI-generated emails directly from your business address. This ensures maximum deliverability and brand trust.
1 Phase 1: OAuth Authentication
InitialChat uses Google's secure OAuth 2.0 protocol, so you never need to share your Google password with us.
- Go to the Integrations page in your dashboard.
- Find the Email Infrastructure section and select the Gmail OAuth tab.
- Click "Sign in with Google".
- Choose the Google account you want to use as your sender.
2 Phase 2: Permissions Approval
ℹ️ Note on Security
Google will show a "Sensitive Scopes" warning. This is normal because the AI needs permission to send emails on your behalf to handle lead notifications and customer support responses.
- Grant permission to "Send email on your behalf".
- Verify that the email address shown matches your intended business sender.
- Click "Allow" or "Continue".

"If you are using a Google Workspace (Enterprise) account, your IT administrator may need to allow \"Third-party app access\". If the connection fails, ask your admin to whitelist InitialChat in the Google Admin Console under Security > API Controls."
